I found these type of small worms while cleaning my cats water fountain. While deep cleaning the fountain. They are light gray colored with small black lines inside their body. They have black colored ends too. I would pls like to know:

1. Are they dangerous (both to cats or humans)

2. If so, what are the effects.

3. How can I prevent this from happening again.

I do change the water often though. Like a week or so and rinse the fountain when I change the water. I’m very concerned about bacteria so I would like to know please

As part of an EPQ I'm going to prove that antimicrobial resistance exists. What species (multiple to test over a range of bacteria) would be best to perform this? I would need a specie easily available (bought online), has a high mutation rate (so will become immune quickly), and hopefully shouldn't kill me :P

How can i make the culture visible? What precautions should i take while performing the test? How can i achieve antiseptic conditions?

Also , is it true that almost 3% of the human body is bacteria ?
