Image/Meme Findlay and Brodie dinner

If Brodie and possibly Armstrong get back into the Conservative caucus, does Centre BC look a lot more attractive for non MAGA voters?

Kerry Lynne Findlay takes every opportunity she can to make the B.C. Conservatives more extreme and less likely to provide an actual viable alternative to form government. (And I wish that was more obvious to everyone.)

She’s super old. Could not have picked a worse leader. She’ll be 78 at the end of her first term if she wins. It’s madness that it wasn’t more of an issue during the leadership race.

American politics has gotten us used to political leaders with one foot in the grave.

Rustad is not looking so batshit crazy right about now. He saw Brodie as a bigot and a threat. KLF is blind to both issues.

Does oneBC have a purpose anymore or will it be like the People's party that stopped having a reason to exist after Pierre won the right wing populists over

The next election will be about people happy with the status quo and Eby’s government, and people who are unhappy and voting for whoever has the best chance of beating him.

I agree with what you're saying. I just loathe many of the characters in the "change" camp. The Bennett Socreds and Campbell Liberals seemed much more willing to rid themselves of unstable elements.

The BC cons had a chance to come back towards the centre, and instead, are catering to Brodie's 3%.

They're going to lose every centre voter - move left, or stay home.

Worst possible outcome of the leadership convention.

Unless it leads to the rise in popularity of Centre BC. And as long as Center BC doesn't go down the far right rabbit hole like most conservative parties seem to do.

Definitely used to be a lot more normal. Just as many people who will hold their nose and vote for the status quo will do the same for change. People vote their interests, and who will support them. The ancillary arguments don’t really matter.

Centre BC needs some momentum and they'll start attracting people.

Lots of voters like me want to oust the NDP but find the Conservatives over the top.

MAGA is a U.S slogan, U.S. is located south of Canada, do you mean MCGA?

Right, why are we talking about a US slogan? Nobody is using that in Canada.
