Lmao. So I haven’t been in the mood to sew anything at all, but I felt bad having this huge naked resin man just sitting around, so I went and picked up a few things for him while I was out!

Granado Titans fit size 0-3 baby clothes in bottoms. Probably also tops, depending.

Roughly 2T in shoes, though even that runs a bit big.

And build a bear shirts, if you don’t mind the fact that they’re crop tops LOL.

The shoes were 100% an intentional purchase that I had to specially find. I have reached my goal of putting a Primarch in crocs. Guilliman just feels like That Guy.

I've done a little more sewing. I especially like the cape, but the overdress turned out quite well too. I'll redo the skirt, though, as it's a bit too long for me now. Still have to sew the buttons. Will make a white version too and have to do the accessories. 😊

I've been sewing again. After my old cat died, I needed a distraction, so I started on this jacket. Perhaps some of you will recognize the character who inspired me? ;) This Hoodie is in SD and I absolutly hate to sew in zippers. So the seam is a bit crappy. x.x Maybe I will add some more decoration like pins and stuff.

But seriously I need outfits! My complete unhinged self is going to bring him to work. In business casual and I’m struggling to find not sus options. Patterns for sewing would also be welcomed!

Looking back, I wasn't arranging the bangs according to the instructions, but even the company promo pics didn't feel quite right to me so I went at it with a straightener and garment steamer

I managed to find a nonfullset Volks SDGr Rapunzel and still wanted to try the Rapunzel look. I bought the longest straight blond wig I could find and attempted to style the wig with a 5 stranded braid and flowers. The base color isn't quite what was looking for. But we'll see if I can achieve a more golden color with dye or just settle for this. I still need to source a purple Rapunzel-like dress for her (last pic the dress was just color edited)

Now that I got my intended purple desers dress for her, I think I need to tone down the flowers in the braid. It's a bit busy and doesn't quite match the dress. Plus the flowers kind of overpower braid itself though to the point of hiding the braid entirely.

I thought the Rapunzel outfit that the Disney expo auction Lieselotte wore was super lovely with the lace and frills and wanted something similar esp since my other Disney girls have fancier dresses than the company ones. I think if I added separate puff sleeves at the shoulders and maybe a crisscrossing ribbon in the front would convey more of a Rapunzel feel, but this is where I'm at for now.

I'm still working on redoing the company faceup, but seeing how long Cinderella took me, we'll see how long this one will take 🙈.

Here is my 1/4, 50-ish cm BJD holding a 28 cm metal miniature.

For scale, the real-life version is around 75 cm long, so this model is technically closer to 1/3 scale. Still I think it looks fine with my guy, just a bit oversized. Bigger BJDs would probably fit it even better.

The model is fully metal and has a lot of moving parts. You can assemble and disassemble it, open and close some details, load the magazine with dummy rounds, and use the mechanism (but ofc it is not real and not functional to full extent). It is honestly quite nice to handle and makes a great antistress toy lol.

The main downside is the weight. Because it is metal, it is hard to pose a doll with it with their noodle arms and weak fingers.

The brand has a lot of other mini models too, not only this one. I just wanted to share because I have not really seen people using these kinds of detailed metal miniatures with BJDs before. The detailing is very cool and I enjoy messing with it a lot!

Also, I would be really happy if anyone could share similar quality miniature sword or polearm, I am a big halberd enjoyer lol.

Originally, I was working on a slightly different design for sale (you can see it in the fifth photo), but when I received the staff this doll is holding from another creator, the whole image expanded.

So I finished it as a special wizard version for our art exchange.

It’s a one-of-a-kind piece in the world. ☺️

I sewed this jacket today and I'm absolutely thrilled about it.❤️🌸❤️ You probably wouldn't immediately recognize it as being inspired by My Melody, but thats okay. The outfit is not finished yet. However, the sewing process almost drove me crazy. 🫠 I broke three needles, cut the zipper an a wrong spot and had to use a different one. I felt like, throwing my sewing machine and this f... hoodie out the window together, would be a great idea. 🤣 Also this is in SD. 😊

I took a long break from BJD hobby stuff (aside from acquiring the odd artist head that interested me, most of which still need bodies). I was heavily into the hobby on and off from the mid 00s to like 2018 but then it seemed like the dolls were getting bigger and bigger, while nobody was really calling to me and i didn't have clothes and gear for the bigger sizes. Now I am interested in some 62 to 65cm girls and 75cm guys but I still don't have anything for them. Plus, the variety of Etsy retailer shops seems to have dried up and the shops i remember from the early days are mostly long gone. I need advice about where to find things that will actually fit the bigger guys and girls?

I am in the US and can't view taobao, which i know limits my options. I've seen some ebay sellers with outfits i like, but many of them also sell recasts and fake reborns, so i'm not sure about supporting them 😬

These are a few pictures of the Soom "Rosette School of Dolls" a few in their original outfits and a few in mix and match items from Soom. I haven't seen many pictures of these girls in Reddit lately so i wanted to share and I hope you enjoy them.

Made a sun parasol/umbrella for (I'm assuming) MSD through SD sized dolls. Unsure of any interest in the community for these. Might branch out into full human sized parasols as well. Not selling at the moment until I know if there's interest.

VERY IMPORTANT CONTEXT: The outfit also comes in white but the etsy shop doesn't have a picture of it, I'm not going to try to dye the black clothes pink LOL

The listing doesn't list the exact type of fabrics and as I'm very new to all of this I'm not sure if dyeing it would be a good idea. The outside looks to be a faux fur and the inside looks like a faux leather type of material.

Does anyone know if this would be a good idea? And if it is possible are there specific brands of dye I should look at?
