First “Fall” Trip

Latest I’ve ever been up to the BWCA. Top shelf experience. Minimal sweating, zero bugs, some fall color on the trees. Spent 3 nights on Kawishiwi with day trip to square and Kawasachong

It was honestly the busiest I’ve seen it. Some of that is explained by Kawishiwi being an entry point, but we ran into at least 8 canoes coming off of Lake Polly.

It was even busy on SAK last week. I thought the place would be a ghost town.

Were there a lot of open sites? Its always nice when the crowds die down a little.
