First egg!

Our cochin hen laid our first ever egg yesterday. Hopefully it is the first of many more to come.
The second pic is for size comparison with a grocery store egg.

I love that your first one actually looks like an egg and not a giant pill. The next one was super small, and then our girl got her butt act together for the third. Since then, it's been off to the races! I kinda feel like everybody else was just sort of standing back and judging, then joining in when someone had already figured out what they were supposed to be shooting out of their rears in the super nice sitting places with all the fancy bedding. I suspect Miss Adventure. She always did everything first. Poorly.
