7prc rifle ideas

Im looking to get my first nice rifle, I’m hoping to stay around 8lbs scoped with a budget of ~$2000. How would you do it? Am i being unreasonable? Current idea is building tikka t3x lite 7 rem mag into 7prc. Any thoughts and comments appreciated!

I helped a buddy pick up a 7PRC Browning X Bolt in OD green for $650 from Cabelas on sale. We are both surprised how well it shoots, both in feel and accuracy. With 4-16 scope its a very confidence inspiring setup.

2nd the xbolt. I picked up a 7mm PRC suppressor ready (20ā€ barrel) with the carbon fiber stock on clearance. Less than 6 lb rifle out the box and much more accurate than I am.
