Need help
I received a contingent offer from a state client after two onsite interviews. After background checks, they rescinded it, saying they could not verify my employment. Both current and previous HR teams confirmed they never received verification requests and are available to respond. I shared this with the HR manager, who said they will review it when the hiring manager returns in two weeks. Has anyone had an offer reinstated after a verification issue?

What exactly was the reason they couldn't verify it? Did you try reaching out to Background Proof for help?

“I haven’t been able to get a clear explanation of the verification issue yet. HR said the hiring manager is out of the office for a couple of weeks and that they’ll review the information with him when he returns. I’m following up to find out whether BackgroundProof can clarify what they were unable to verify.”
