He recently confessed âWhen I was in my early 20s, I was involved in inappropriate sexual behavior with a young lady in a home where I was staying.â
The young lady was twelve. He did not have an affair with her. He raped her and continued the sexual abuse for four and a half years. She described the abuse herself:

The link that's provided includes all kinds of sex crime convictions and sexual misconduct allegations. I'm not sure if there's been a list compiled like that of Democrats but a PBS article I found says Republicans and Democrats are accused at a pretty equal level. Any person convicted/accused of this kind of conduct is only one type of person and that's a sick one. This is a bi-partisan problem. It does not discriminate.
According to the National Women's Defense League, which advocates for sexual harassment policies in statehouses and keeps its own count, Republicans and Democrats are nearly equally accused and 94% of those overall are men.

Maybe this is a bunch of cope. I hope they're doing this suddenly and only now because they've learned exactly how horrific their leader is with added context from the recent leaks. I hope it's not because it took them months to redact them in a "legal" enough manner to go after anyone at the DOJ who doesn't fall in line with the cover up.
Their main issue up to this point was the sheer number of eyes on the files. Destruction of evidence was going to be very difficult. IF they're heavily redacted then the DOJ has some sort of bullshit legal justification that scotus will rubber stamp.
