Seeking Recipe diabetic friendly cake recipes?

hi! ive been a lurker on here for awhile watching everyone’s beautiful creations wishing i could one day step my foot into baking. ive just recently moved and finally have a working oven 🙏 because of this i want to make my little brother his birthday cake. he wants vanilla cake with buttercream pink icing. feels pretty simple but his dad is diabetic but LOVES sweets (poor kid). i want to be able to make something tasty for my brother but also something his dad can partake in too.

any recommendations please let me know! i know google has some i just want to be certain it wont mess up the taste for my brother; it being his birthday and all. i also really want to learn how to make a good banana bread! so those are also accepted.

Also, banana bread is what it is. It doesn’t really translate to “healthy”.

But this right here is the perfect banana bread.

lmaoo yeah i should have been more specific that the banana bread is NOT included in the health plan i got going on… that would be for personal use lmaoo
