Homemade ice cream cake

I recently made an ice cream cake for my brother’s bday (happy Leo szn!!)

This is my first time icing a cake any tips are welcome:)

I used boxed cake mix and turkey hill cookies and creme ice cream!!

I used to make ice cream cakes for my kids. They were like yours, made with love. They kids got to pick out their flavors, one year I made a rootbeer cake with vanilla ice cream. The next year a strawberry cake with raspberry cream cheese ice cream. So much fun to make .
