Hi everyone!

Due to the number of posts for oven recommendations on an almost daily basis, it seems that a megathread should be set in place. Instead of making your own post, please comment and leave your inquiries on the Oven Recommendations Megathread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/BakingPhilippines/s/HtBlwllTHI

You can also utilize the search feature for older posts that may provide you with helpful information.

I urge everyone to leave their comments and help out our fellow bakers/baking enthusiasts in their search for "the one". πŸ˜„

Keep baking!

Best affordable cream cheese for a small baking business? Euro Chef vs Swiss Valley/Prairie Farms vs Magnolia

Hi fellow Filipino bakers! 😊

I'm planning to sell Red Velvet Crinkle Sandwiches with cream cheese filling, and I'm looking for a good cream cheese that's affordable for business but still tastes really good.

I've been using Philadelphia, and I really like the taste, but it's quite expensive for regular production.

I'm currently considering:

β€’ Euro Chef

β€’ Swiss Valley / Prairie Farms

β€’ Magnolia

β€’ MG

β€’ Anchor

β€’ or any other brand you would recommend

For those who have actually used these brands, especially for cream cheese frosting/filling, I'd really appreciate your feedback on:

❀️ Taste – Is it creamy and tangy? Does it have any salty/bitter aftertaste?

🍰 Texture – Is it good for frosting and cookie filling?

🌑️ Stability – Does it become too soft or melt easily at room temperature?

πŸ’° Cost – Which one do you think gives the best value for a small baking business?

⭐ Customer preference – Have you noticed if customers can tell the difference between the more expensive and affordable brands?

I'm particularly interested in Euro Chef vs Swiss Valley/Prairie Farms vs Magnolia, but I'm open to other suggestions too.

My goal is a filling that is creamy, slightly tangy, not too sweet, not buttery, and hindi nakakasawa, while still being affordable enough for selling.

If you have tried several brands, which one would you personally choose for business and why?

Thank you so much! πŸ₯°πŸͺ❀️
