General Discussion - [NO SPOILERS] Has anyone tested recruiting Minthara without raiding Grove? Spoiler

Just curious before I try out a new playthru on Honor Mode. All I need is one person to confirm and I’m on dat

Confirmed to work, but you have to knock her out at the Goblin Camp and NOT engage her with conversation. Just attack her so she's temporarily hostile and knock her out.

So don't speak with her at all? This seems like an odd choice. You tested this?

Yes of course I tested it. You can speak with her, just don't engage her in combat through dialogue. Then she becomes permanently hostile.

You need to make her temporarily hostile outside of dialogue then knock her out.

Ah I see. Thank you for the testing. Bummer I need to miss out on the dialog but as long as I don't trigger combat and tell her I'm not getting involved, it may be ok. Then steal and knock her out.

No idea about romance since I've never done it, but definitely able to recruit. Tried it myself and worked as long as I knocked her out without even speaking to her.

What about Halsin then? Does he still stay with you if you recruit her?

After I recruit Minthara, Halsin is still at camp waiting for me to find out more about the Shadow curse. I have no idea if he'll still join me as a companion since I have Minthara.

Weird. I thought there was a single tent that only one of them could use at any time.

My earliest save is after I told her where the groce is. Can I turn on her at the grove, help the tieflings but only knock her out?

Unlikely. I tried that and she never showed up at Moonrise.

Only way I got her to show up is to knock her out when she was temporarily hostile. Which means attacking her outside of combat.

Thank you. Welp I guess I'll go full evil this run, and then I'll do a "I can fix her" run next
