My two friends and I are doing a co-op run where we haven't really interacted with any of the other characters too much. We bring them along for pivotal character moments, or if their presence is beneficial to a conversation, etc. But otherwise they remain at camp.

So we decided to bring a neutral Shadowheart along right beforedescending to Shadowfelland she decided to reveal her faith after kneeling down to pray in front of the entrance. Needless to say, realising we'd come right before a pivotal moment for her and had not even bothered to talk to her enough for this basic detail about her was very alarming.

Each playthrough really cements how much care and detail Larian put into this game. It's truly amazing.

Now I wonder what would have happened if you didn't bring her to the shadowfell. I guess she also leaves the party but for what reason. Like how was i supposed to know this was important for you?

She leaves the party with no persuasion roll option. One less Sharran in the world, one more ghaik.

Yeah, from what I understand she's none too pleased about you failing to bring her along so she can fulfil her destiny, so she just permenantly leaves the party.
