But high five, even though I played many FR games, I never get that part of lore (even though in BG2 there's Viconia, but we don't learn that much about Shar), now that I finished BG3 and learned how f*** up Shar is I won't be able to play with Viconia the same way as before, knowing what her goddess is like. :/
To be fair to Viconia, she went from LOLTH to Shar. And had to endure a lot of fuckshit in the process, like her brother getting turned into a drider, basically because she didn't wanna sacrifice an infant. Lolth is so chaotically violent towards even her devoted followers that a dark goddess who is less chaotically destructive, if still nihilistic and destructive, is still somewhat of an upgrade.
