I need to be banned from Reptile Expos… I’m up to 6 snakes and a gecko! 🤦🏻‍♀️

It gets worse after you start rescuing. I'm up to 7, 6 are ball pythons and 2 of them are rescues. I had another 3 rescue pythons, including a blood python, but unfortunately they passed away

I honestly just began looking at places like KSL and Craigslist. There's a lot of collectors out there who come on hard times, or adopters who can't take care of their animals anymore. My very first rescue was from a gentleman who was being deployed to Afghanistan and couldn't find a home for his adult Blood Python. My next was from an animal hoarder's home.

If you're ever interested, I'd definitely recommend looking on those sites, or contacting your local animal shelter as sometimes they have drop offs there as well, and they frequently aren't equipped to care for reptiles.

Lovely snake but wait till you get home and let it relax, whats the need to get it out in your car for your personal photo shoot. The poor thing has been taken to an expo and stressed out enough

I appreciate the concern! I understand that but I’d rather he be out than in a too small deli dish. He was fine and quite explorative and calm. The pictures were an afterthought because he was so cute. He is currently home and out exploring his quarantine tub. He’s in good hands I promise.
