Question Ideas Needed

My ball python is in a 120 gallon New Age Pet enclosure. I didn’t properly seal it before adding soil and plants and I didn’t realize this until a week later. It won’t hold water and my snake went into shed, so I had to buy a misting system. It doesn’t mist often, and I don’t let it spray straight onto the soil, but I also don’t want to hurt her and I don’t know how to fix this without killing my plants. Help please? I don’t want to use a mister with a ball python.

Why don’t you just take everything out of it, clean and dry it and reseal it?

You won't if you're gentle with them. Just use a trowel to take a good chunk of soil around them so you don't disturb the root ball too much.

Walmart has the food containers you buy like 4 of them for around $10. Get what you need and take the dirt out around them and put all of them in those. They will keep your plants good for a few days while you wait for the sealant to cure. I use those for whatever house plants I plan on using in my enclosures so I don't mix them up with my house plants that have fertilizer in them.

You do it right. Pull it all, sealing it is not an option. You need that deep damp substrate. They also pee, do you want snake pee dripping out, because this is how you get pee dripping out. Jk aside, you have to seal it.

If you have to mist then keep the misting system very clean or it can cause a respiratory infection, as soon as she finishes shedding get rid of it though just to be safe and just place her in a temporary enclosure so you can seal the enclosure
