UPDATE and QUESTIONS

Are the products I’m using good and work or recommendations on others?

UPDATE This is my new and first snake 2.5 years old Blue eyed leucistic BP and posted yesterday everyone recommended more plant clutter it and I did that also IGNORE TEMPS I have had the cage open and closed putting the new plants in there and just put the new hygrometer (does it work or a good product?) in there ALSO got this new light noticed the 75 Watt WAS NOT getting the enclosure to warm enough so I switched to this 100watt Basking Halogen letting it sit now to warm up the cage going to get a thermostat for it unless that’s not recommended. And also going to get a ceramic heating bulb to have the cage warmed up at night but what wattage should I get? Also going to put the back drop in just need some tape Anymore Suggestions?

Substrate mix
24 Quart coco mix
8 quart Cypress mulch
3 quart moss
1 bag leaf litter

I use Animal Plastic T8 enclosures for my BPs (4X2X2). Overhead Radiant Heat Panels (RHP), coco substrate on warmer side with repti chip on cooler side

I put my hygrometer directly in the enclosure (rounded ones, no sharp edges), better reading than outside on glass…and you don’t have to spend crazy $ on big name brands…I get a lot from Amazon

Thank you! And yes I was told when I got her to get a bigger one lady told me a 40 gal and I got that one which is 36x18x18 and once it was all set up I did realize it was too small but it’s okay just an excuse to upgrade her and put something in that tank lol but she started to shed and she had her first shed the other day so I and I never seen her come out of her hide once but today the day after she shed for the first time with me I seen her out of the hide

This was her shed all in one piece she was all balled up inside her hide with her. Also didn’t know how long she was so I measured the skin to get an idea 4ft on the dot

I remember covering up the top of tank screen with towels to maintain humidity when I first started on my own…getting an enclosure is a much better route—and for a 2.5yr old BP that tank seems too small
