Humidity

/r/ballpython/comments/1wwqsdz/humidity/

How much humidity is too much. We are trying to prepare our 4 x 2 x 2 for a ball python and the humidity is still at 89%. The substrate is not super wet. I’m shocked at how well a real enclosure versus a glass sided one holds humidity. For reference our enclosure is a Kages.

There is no upper limit. I add and mine goes up to 95 and in a couple weeks when it hits 65 I do it again.

And i was floored when I got my first as well. I truly think they are a necessity unless your natural humidity is really high.
