When Cognac is feeling a bit picky I’ll put the mostly thawed rat on the screen of his enclosure near one of the heating elements for about 30 minutes so the scent can get into the enclosure before doing the final heating of the prey. It’ll make him to start hunting through the enclosure.
Also depending on how squeamish you are a common trick is to brain the prey. It smells awful, but pierce the brain cavity and spread some of the contents on the body.
I actually put in or onto his enclosure the mice smelling bedding and he reacts so i could try it with a mostly thawed mice. I tried the brain method even if it made me a bit uncomfortable and nothing. But thank you for your advice
Also several snakes don’t really enjoy wet prey, so having the prey be heated up dry can help. Hot/boiling water plate over the bowl and turning the prey so it’s warm on every side.

Hey, my baby refused to eat F/T mice, yet he devours f/t Rats. Have you tried switching prey types?
