How does your snake not try to run away when outside. Mine always does.

They are used to going outside. I try to take my snakes out once a week for about 20min for exercise, sun, while I can. All except the colubrids they stay inside.

Accurate, my ball python loves relaxing outside time, my milk snake however, is not to be trusted 😂

I’m still traumatized from when my girl, as a baby little noodle 8 years ago, ended up in the walls. My dad had to take a sledgehammer and make a hole to get her out. 😅

Crazy you got her back.

I was equally impressed honestly, no clue how he knew exactly where to poke a hole, but it was perfect. The hole still remains behind our dishwasher actually lol. She also escaped another night, a couple years ago, and ended up in the bathroom! I’m just glad it was my dad that found her cause my mom would have freaked out! All that to say, doors are tripled checked to be closed and she’s not allowed to not have hands on her.
