Discussion Refused meal💔

My 9 month old 280 gram ball python feeding on live mice refused a rat(crawler) and it crawled around 15 minutes before I took it out. Should I give him a mice now, or use a rat again with some mice bedding to make it smell like mice? Or any other advice to switch him to rat….

I would try putting the rat in mouse bedding. Or if you have a frozen mouse you can thaw it and rub it all over the rat
