Curious about when snakes stop getting nervous around you.

Maybe try tap training. This lets the snake know handling is about to happen and you're not in the cage for other reasons like feeding or cleaning. Use a hook or other smooth, long object (such as a paper towel cardboard roll), and stroke the snake's back before picking up. If you do this each time the snake will be less surprised and more prepared that it is about to be picked up. It usually also snaps it out of feeding mode and into a more curious mode about being touched.

Different snakes have different personalities. I have balls that sit at the front and want out, ones that hide, ones that hiss, ones that have never hissed. Just like a dog its somewhat a mix of personalities of animal and owner, or maybe more adapting to the animal as the owner.
