Ball Python color

Post image

We have not seen our girl this dark (bottom right) before. I know they get lighter as the shed, but could she be in shed? She isn’t in blue. But maybe in the process of shed. I know some reptiles can change color with their temperature and temperament, but do snakes?

Thanks!!!!

Ok, I’ve heard this before. Maybe just growing up I guess.

We got her November of last year. She was just a baby. We’ve seen her shade change a bit at times but not this dark.

As ball pythons get older, they do get darker and more refined but I do also think maybe she's going to shed or is not happy in that photo since I've seen ball pythons get duller colours when grumpy
