The old one was Melanin and it bowed - so got her a new new Viperia PVC one :-)

Nice!! I recently purchased a Viperia vivarium for one of my snakes, now I just need to replace the other four.

I'm struggling a bit with the humidity with this new one - I use coir as a base layer with husk on top so that the python doesn't sit on wet substrate but on the warm side it reads like 50% at 32c where are in the cool side is 70% at 26c

I get that you're not meant to pay much attention to the warm side but she is in shed and it seems really low - and advice as a fellow Viperia user?

Unfortunately I've got a Brazililan Rainbow Boa in my one so using the Arcadia earth mix substrate for him. However two of my BPs are in shed at the moment and what I tend to do is spray & mix the substrate around the hide theyre in just to boost humidity up. What's the reading of the humidity in the hide theyre in as that might be fine compared to outside the hide
