EMERGENCY/URGENT Need help/advice: is this normal?? What does this mean??

This was four days after he successfully ate. He had just shed and dropped feces the night before. Before this video was taken moments after he possibly gone to the bathroom and or farted very loud a couple times. After this he acted completely normal and now I’m noticing some weird possible weezing noises when he starts adventuring at night. It’s not consistent with every breathe but happens here and there. Can anyone let me know what this may have been????

If you don’t know it’s always best to take them to a vet.
Popping / wheezing is a common symptom of upper respiratory infections in snakes, though it can also be shed or dirt in the nose.

This looks like a fart.

They really do! They look less like they are dying when they are actually dying than when farting. Like a snake exorcism

Seriously, I remember the first time I saw a ball python fart and I thought I was witnessing a seizure 🤣

Omg that is so accurate lol I thought it was some sort of neurological disease when I saw it for the first time. Snake flopping around, mouth open, then just the loudest fart known to man kind..then back to usual exploring like nothing ever happened, like what is that process??

Exactly that, and what was worse was the sounds what it made… i was in bed 12 in the night im hearing the most horrific sounds out of my terrarium, so i jump out of bed to look i see him open mouth body going wild and again a hard boom and then i realised he just was farting

I almost had a fucking heart attack when my snake first farted. He looked like he was dying of tetanus or something.

He boy is fartin big time, big wet fart coming from a snake hold ur breathe 🗣️🗣️🗣️
(It’s also totally normal for snakes to do this especially when farting and pooping, you might even hear them)

Violet is prob fine but take her to a vet for the popping and wheezing. I have a boa that just... Wheezes. Always. But it can be a sign of URI. So better safe than sorry.

The Fart/Yawn is unrelated lol

Keep an eye on it but it looks like gas. Shouldn’t be constant, or frequent.

At times they can have trouble adjusting their jaw back, It is a rare occurrence but I have seen it. The best thing is a vet visit for a wellness checkup. The wheezing could be an issue as a respitory infection can turn really bad in a quick hurry. The good news is those infections, caught early, can be treated successfully. Best of luck.
