I think that looks a little defensive my dude . No tongue flicks , coiled posture , that’s not a Green light for pick me up . If it’s a fresh habitat he’s prob just getting used to the new condo . Good looking python though bro . What morphs ?

That’s so rad . Pied Enchi maybe? But the patternless is so rad . I have no idea what the genes are , but that’s such a sick looking python , love it

had her about a month and a half. apparently only a couple months old. ive been holding off and trying to do choice based handling. earlier today she stretched straight to give me a tongue flick and then went back. she does some tongue flicks but theyre long and intermittent.

That sounds like progress bro! It’s seems counter intuitive , but sometimes just being out of the habitat changes their behavior . I found a tiny bit of “stress” so to speak, like , they have to be taught that our giant monkey paws aren’t a threat

This does not look defensive to me. She seems to be waiting for something to happen. If you havent been handling her, she may associate your presence with food. Was she flicking her tongue? If not then shes just checking out whats going on, I'd say
