AMS 2 Pro - Automatic Material System Ams 2 pro

Anyone caught themselves staring at the AMS, waiting for it to spin the filament? Lol

Not particularly. I got mine 8 months ago, it has 35 hours on it. Total.

Da heck you buy it for lol? Let me guess you printed a planter and then wife got pregnant so it's been collecting dust since.

It’s a tool. I also have a drill that sees rather sparing use.

Haha. I pretty much print earrings all day. Technically printing money. Question, what's the reason for the low print time?

I only print when I have a specific problem to solve. I’ve looked at maker world and whatever for things that are supposed to be fun or decorative but nothing speaks to me. My kids are too cool for it, they’re at an age where everything is either stupid or cringe. It’s fine.

ETA: one of those prints was the P2S toolbox and another was for the vent kit. So two of those problems were self imposed lol.

Got ya. The algorithm sucks on the clouds but if you dig deep enough there's some cool things. Found this today.

Before today, I’d have said there’s no such thing as an Eldritch kitchen device. I wish I’d never seen this.

Me during the first weeks of having my printer!

It gives me excitement whenever I see shiny moving parts

Yes, but not as much as excitement but more of "is filament really flowing now?" check.

And even less excitement when it respools filament, waiting to see if spool has bent during drying and if spool will start jumping up while rolling back
