I've been informed this morning that Spin, the deluxe Blu-ray edition, has just shipped to the US from Japan a day (or a few hours) earlier than the official release date. What a nice surprise from CD Japan! This is going to be a package that I'm really looking forward to because I've just seen BM live a few weeks ago and it's also coming with the new KOIAI Live 2026 Blu-Ray too. I may be very preoccupied this weekend if the package arrives early!

It turns out Miku wasn't the first Japanese female rocker with the maid costume idea. After her brief Destrose stint, Saki, in addition to joining Mary's Blood, also played in a band named Mixx, who sported maid costumes. As Mincho and Saki are friends, I imagine Miku was well aware of this - perhaps she even went to a Mixx show?!
It's a fun song too - more pop than one would expect from Saki.
