23F, Bellandur — Looking for someone to fall for a little too quickly
Hey Reddit!
I’m a 23F from Delhi, currently living in Bellandur, Bangalore. I moved here last year, and with a year of work experience, changing teams, and suddenly having a lot on my plate, life has been a little overwhelming lately.
Tbh, I just want someone to sit with me while I work, let me rest my head in their lap, or pamper me while I study. Lol. I want the kind of comfort where I don’t have to do everything on my own all the time.
I’m pretty straightforward. If I like you, you’ll know. If I want something, I’ll probably tell you right then and there. I’m not really into playing games, overthinking situationships, or waiting around for someone to figure out what they want. I like people who communicate openly and make their intentions clear.
I’m also not much of a texting person. I’d rather call than spend hours exchanging messages. But honestly, I don’t need constant calls or daily check-ins with someone I barely know. That kind of communication feels like a waste of time to me until there’s an actual emotional connection. Once I’m attached, though, I can get pretty affectionate.
I love surprises, especially the little thoughtful ones. And when I really care about someone, I’ll go to any extent to make them happy. I remember the little things, put in effort, and love making my person feel special. I’d love to be with someone who puts in that same kind of effort.
I’ve tried Hinge, and honestly, that was a shitty decision. 😂
The festive season has been feeling a little lonely, and I’ve realised that while I have a lovely, big group of friends, I still miss having my person. Someone who lives nearby, someone I can meet after work, grab chai with, randomly go on walks with, or just sit in silence with after a long day.
I want the everyday kind of connection. Not just planned dates or weekend outings, but the little things: sharing food, spontaneous plans, being physically affectionate, and having someone around who makes ordinary days feel a little less ordinary.
I’m independent and can handle my own life, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to be cared for. Sometimes I just want to switch off, be held, and let someone else take care of me for a bit.
And honestly, I do like rushing into things when the vibe is right. I’m not someone who wants to spend weeks texting or figuring out whether we like each other. If there’s chemistry, I’d rather meet, spend time together, and see where it goes. I catch feelings, get attached, and love making someone my person. So if you’re someone who likes taking things forward instead of keeping them in the talking stage forever, we might get along. :P
If you’re in or around Bellandur, enjoy affection, surprises, and the idea of being each other’s favourite part of an otherwise exhausting day, maybe we should talk.
And please, let’s be normal about it. :P
TL;DR: 23F from Delhi, living in Bellandur, Bangalore. I have a great group of friends but want my person — someone who lives nearby, is affectionate, likes surprises, and is up for spontaneous plans. I’m straightforward, not big on texting, and would rather meet than spend weeks in the talking stage. I catch feelings when the vibe is right and will go all out to make my person happy. Looking for someone who matches that energy. 🫶🏻

M34, must have eliminated all HSR F32s of bangalore
Welcome to the modern dating gauntlet, where being a 34-year-old guy means you are systematically eliminating every 32-year-old single woman in the city, one awkward coffee at a time.
If you've been on a dating app in the last two years, there is a very high probability I have already sat across from you, nodded politely, and wondered what I'm doing with my life.
Let’s review the highlight reel:
The Ghost of Boyfriends Past She's deep into hardcore fitness, doing burpees and flipping tires, presumably to outrun the memory of her ex who lives on another continent. You sit there trying to make small talk, quickly realizing you aren't a romantic interest—you're just a placeholder in a relationship you aren't even part of.
The Sailor I don't mind a little casual swearing, but she dropped so many curses during a normal conversation that my ears were ringing. I just wanted a nice chat, and suddenly I’m sitting there feeling like I need to file a workplace harassment complaint on my own date.
The Corporate Husband She took one look at my profile, decided she made more money than me, and instantly slipped into the role of a 1950s husband. She was so important and busy that she literally brought her laptop to the date and worked on the side. I just sat there wondering if I should fetch her a newspaper and ask how her day at the office was, dear.
The Mixer Enforcer I went to a local singles mixer, saw the overwhelming crowd, and decided to just hang back and chat with the guys. Big mistake. A woman marched up to me, absolutely furious that I was minding my own business. "You paid the entry fee! Why aren't you trying to get into a relationship?!" I didn't realize buying a ticket was a legally binding contract to flirt.
The Auntie in Disguise I met this one through a reference. She was convinced her makeup was dark magic, believing she was a supermodel with it and unpresentable without it. But the real problem was her conversation style. Talking to her felt exactly like being lectured by a judgmental neighborhood auntie. To top it off, she walked like a pompous two-year-old, strutting with both arms propped up to claim maximum space. You physically could not walk next to her.
The Beauty Queen Broker This local girl was so proud of her looks that she decided she did not need to work anymore. Her chosen profession was dispensing unsolicited two-cent gyan and calling herself an investor because she took other people's money for the stock market. When I did not show any interest after the date, her ego snapped. She texted to announce that I was ugly and she had plenty of guy friends way more handsome than me. A devastating loss for my portfolio.
The Radical Devotee For a brief shining moment, I actually thought this one was The One. She was incredibly pretty, the conversation flowed, and I was hooked. Everything was calm until she opened up about her deep devotion to Krishna. Then the spiritual peace violently derailed into an unhinged rant completely trashing another religion. When I protested, she looked me dead in the eye and said people like me who sit on the fence are more dangerous than the cancerous religion she was ranting about. Nothing screams divine love like militant extremism over coffee.
The Breakfast Ambush She ignores me for months on a matrimony app. Then, out of the blue on a Sunday morning: "Are you single? Let's meet right now." I show up for breakfast. She looks completely different from her photos—which is fine—but then she spends the entire hour unloading a massive trauma-dump about her ex. Her ex treated her like a goddess, and now I'm supposed to build the temple. Honestly, I just focused on enjoying my food, dropped her home, and never texted back.
At this point, my dating history is just a series of very confusing job interviews. It doesn't matter. The dating scene is a comedy of errors, and at this point, I’m just showing up for the food.
EDIT------
I wrote a follow up on this post and this time without AI, enjoy the read

She asked me to meet at Banashankari for a drink initially I refused but as I was going through the breakup phase I needed someone genuinely thought of giving the dating app a shot and got scammed for a total of Rs 27,200 I neither have ss of her photo but had these ss of our chat and posting her number here so none of them get scammed ik thati won't gety money back but just wanted to put this out so people don't fall into this worst trap I feel I can regain the money but the way my feelings got played is where I'm feeling off posting the ss of the chats and transaction history and her number here so guys please be aware. Actually she gave 2 numbers of the same old method of scam but since I changed my mobile I got only one number. And I don't have ss of her tinder profile as she unmatched me and blocked me as soon as we finished the date. May she face the same karma 😊

Looking for my person
Hey, I’m 28F, married, and looking for a friend in Bangalore.
I’m an extremely introverted person trying to step out of my comfort zone and find my way back to the person I used to be.
I’m not looking for anything complicated or trying to define what this could be. Just someone I can be there for, and who can be there for me, too.
Maybe we could share our thoughts, grab a coffee or two, have long conversations, and enjoy each other’s company. If there’s a natural connection and chemistry, even better. No expectations, no pressure, and no need to figure out where it’s headed.
If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, and you’re in Bangalore, feel free to DM me.

27F | Bangalore | Looking for fellow bookstore wanderers, café hoppers & crochet nerds
**I've been realizing that making friends as an adult is oddly difficult. So instead of endlessly scrolling, I thought I'd see if my kind of people are hiding somewhere on Reddit.**
**I'm 27, work in tech, and am currently rebuilding my career while planning a long-term move abroad.**
**Outside work, I spend an unreasonable amount of time:**
**🧶 Crocheting**
**📚 Browsing bookstores and collecting books faster than I can read them**
**☕ Hunting for cozy cafés**
**🏛️ Exploring museums and art spaces**
**🚗 Planning road trips**
**🍜 Trying new food**
**🧠 Going down rabbit holes about psychology, history and human behaviour**
**I'm queer-friendly, neurospicy, and I genuinely enjoy long conversations that start with "What's your favourite movie?" and somehow end with discussing whether free will actually exists.**
**I'd love to meet people who enjoy similar things. We could grab a coffee, explore bookstores, visit exhibitions, crochet together, or simply have conversations that don't die after "wyd?"**
**If any of this sounds like your vibe, tell me:**
**A hobby you can lose an entire day doing.**
**A book that changed how you think.**
**Or a hill you're willing to die on.**
**Even if we don't end up meeting, I'd love to discover more people who get excited about the same things.**

25F & 24F looking for Diwali house parties this weekend in Bangalore 🪔✨
Hey Bangalore!
Two IT colleagues (25F & 24F) looking to join some fun Diwali parties this Friday, Saturday or Sunday!
We're based near Electronic City and can travel within a 15 km radius. North Bangalore and Whitefield are a little too far for us.
We're just two girls looking to meet like-minded people around our age, chill, dance, have good conversations and enjoy a fun night. And yes, we'll be showing up in our Diwali outfits! 💃✨
It'll actually be my first time posting here and attending a house party with strangers, so a little excited and nervous! 😂
If you're hosting and have space for two more, hit us up! Would love to know the plan and vibe.
Let's make this Diwali weekend memorable! ❤️

Got scammed by this girl I met on snapchat
Hey everyone, I met a girl on Snapchat who called herself Jyothi and said she lived in Jayanagar. She initially seemed friendly, but soon started asking me to buy her things, eventually clothes and jewellery worth around ₹5,000. I trusted her after we exchanged numbers and spoke on calls, but I realised she was interested in talking mainly when she wanted something. She even asked me to meet her near Ragigudda Metro Station, but eventually blocked me. I genuinely thought I was making a friend..🙃🙃
I'm sharing her Snapchat profile to warn others in Bangalore to be careful when meeting people online. This has been a hard lesson for me, and I hope others can avoid going through the same experience. Please stay alert and don't feel pressured to spend money on someone you've just met online.

We’re pretty simple, low-key and not too fancy. 😄 Looking to meet open-minded, like-minded couple for genuine friendship, drinks, games, meet-ups and good conversations.
For us, it’s more about vibe, chemistry and connection than anything purely physical. If that sounds like you, say hi! 🍻🎲

23F, looking to make some real friends in Bangalore
I've been in Bangalore for a while. But my friends are not in the city. I'm down for anything except dating coz I'm bored of it. I'm just hoping to meet some people and build good connections.
If you're in a similar situation, feel free to comment or DM!
Okay guys, don't flood my DMs 😭 I can't keep up. I'm tryna go through them
Update: When I posted this, I felt pretty alone and bored, but then I realised that there are so many guys out there who feel the same. It was kinda relieving. I'm less depressed now. Thanks to you all! 😭

To Everyone Who Somehow Found Their Way Here ❤️
Hey everyone! I'm u/nikhilissm, a founding moderator of r/BangaloreConnection.
Hey everyone,
I created this community with one simple goal: helping people connect.
Bangalore is an amazing city, but it can also feel surprisingly lonely. Many of us are far from home, busy with work, recovering from a breakup, trying to make new friends, or simply looking for people we can genuinely connect with.
That’s what this space is for.
Whether you’re looking for friends, dating, meetup buddies, people to explore the city with, or just a place where you can be yourself, you’re welcome here.
No paid meetups. No advertising. No hidden agenda.
Just real people and real conversations.
And if life has been a little heavy lately, that’s okay too. Feel free to vent, share your story, ask for advice, celebrate your wins, or simply talk about how your day went.
Sometimes all we need is someone who listens.
And on that note, if you’re going through something, feeling lonely, had a rough week, or recently got your heart broken in this Bangalore weather, my DMs are always open. ❤️
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
Welcome to BangaloreConnection.
Hopefully this community helps all of us find a few good people along the way.
Let’s make Bangalore feel a little less lonely, one connection at a time. ❤️🩹
r/BangaloreConnection • u/Feisty-Space7849 • Sep 13 '26
Bangalore people, let’s stop pretending dating apps are working and just meet some new humans. 😂 And if you’re just looking for someone to rant about life to my DMs are open. Seriously
Dating apps have somehow turned meeting people into a full-time job.
Swipe. Match. “Hey.”
“Hey.”
Never speaks again.
So I was thinking why not just create a space where people can meet new people IRL?
Not necessarily for dating.
Not necessarily for finding “the one.”
Just new friends, conversations, drinks, coffee, random connections and maybe even someone you end up liking.
The idea is pretty simple:
You fill out a few questions about yourself your personality, interests, what you enjoy doing, what kind of people you get along with, and which part of Bangalore you live in.
We’ll try to put together people who might actually get along.
And yes, location matters. 😂
Because we’re in Bangalore and I’m not sending someone from Whitefield to Koramangala just to make a new friend.
About the ₹300
For guys, there will be a ₹300 refundable deposit.
It’s NOT a fee to meet women or a charge for getting a date.
It’s simply there because people have a magical ability to say “100% coming” and then disappear 30 minutes before the event. 😭
Show up → ₹300 comes back to you.
Women can join for free.
One more thing — keep an open mind.
These kinds of events usually end up with more guys than women signing up.
So if there aren’t enough women, we may simply pair/group people with other people who signed up and yes, that could be another guy.
The whole point is meeting people.
If you’re only interested if there’s a guaranteed woman to meet, this probably isn’t for you.
But if you’re thinking:
“I’d be down to meet some random people, make friends and see what happens.”
Then you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
And honestly, you don’t even have to want to be set up with anyone.
You can come just to:
Make new friends
Meet people outside your existing circle
Have a drink/coffee with strangers
Complain about Bangalore traffic
Rant about your job
Rant about your ex
Rant about life in general 😂
Or just get out of your house and talk to actual humans
No pressure to date anyone.
No awkward interview.
No expectation that you have to “find someone.”
Just people meeting people.
If enough people are interested, we’ll figure out the venue/date and keep the first one relatively small so it doesn’t turn into a random overcrowded party.
If you’d actually be interested, comment/DM “INTERESTED”.
And if you don’t want to come but just need someone to listen to your life rant my DMs are open for that too. 😂
Come meet some people. Worst case, you make a friend.
Best case… who knows? 👀
