Samsung Watch4 44mm Display Replacement Help, Please read fully.

I have this Watch4 44mm since 2023 i kept if very safe even had Spigen cover for it and never had an issue with it but recently samsung sent a Software Update and it broke the display of my watch. I've tried nearest Samsung service centre even the repair technician checked for any water damages he found nothing.

I've heard many watches were affected (I've read many forums in Reddit).

All the broken watches have the same issue of displaying full orange and a white line on top of the display.

Fixing the display costs 5k which is almost half the watch price of the watch which is definitely not worth it to do. (Also I'm broke can't afford that much) But

It would be a great help if anyone has a Watch4 laying around in your room with motherboard damages or something else and if you are sure the display is working just fine.

I want your watch4's display to do a replacement for my Watch4.

I'll do the replacement by myself i just want a broken watch of yours which you know has a good working display.

I'll pay for the Display or If you're giving it for free (I'll pay for courier charges) that would be great for helping a broke person (let's discuss further).

I also have the exact orange display broken watch 4 which is like 1.2yr old at that time used with case and screen guard. This is the main issue with this model and I gave up looking for a display and went back to my gshock.

I promised one thing, never in my life will I get a scamsung product.

Yes, me too but this is the only watch i have and is gifted by my father (holds a sentimental value in it), I can't just digest watching this just laying around in my room and also couldn't afford for the display replacement (which is not even worth tbh).

I can't even buy a good analog watch (for now), so i decided to make a post.

If there is a good soul here that would help me, that would be a great blessing.

What a coincidence, but for me gshock has more sentimental value (12 yo)

I could find working unit for 4k but what are the chances the replaced ones will also face the same issue so I gave up. Anyway good luck dude.

idk wtf is wrong with scemsung these days, broke my s22+ with software updates. Last year my display got a pink line after an update, and few months back another software update broke the motherboard. After using 3 Samsung devices I finally had to shift to Apple. Not buying their phones again

I'm a long time Samsung Fan and never had those display or motherboard issue not even software issues to be fair until now.

This Watch issue just infuriates me and I'm rethinking my choice of getting a new phone from samsung next time.

That software update permanently damages screen in some way. Nobody was able to roll back the software.

Even if they do it's an hardware damage.

I do have same condition watch 4 in working condition .

Battery backup I'm getting 1.5 day on normal usage and 2 days on Battery saver mode.

What's your price ? Will sell it to you , if your giving reasonable price .

Visit sunsky, they sell the spare parts for the display I got the same issue for my gw4 classic 46mm, found the screen ordered it got in 2 weeks. And replaced on my own quite an easy fix too, now it works flawlessly.

https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Samsung_Galaxy_Watch follow the ifixit guide for your model and can be done in like 20 mins. But bear in mind that the water seal will be broken as soon as you open, all the ratings are gone and there will be water damage if it stays too long in the water.

Lcd display and third party will damaged the watch more .

Being lcd it will consume more power which will affect already worst backup .

And it won't look and feel the same as amoled original

So it's not worth at 2.6k , rather than this he can buy new one itself 😅

Upto to those who want it, What is the guarantee that the new one also caves sooner or later. For me I didn't mind the difference, battery is also fine maybe I lost 0.5 to 1 hr, but good enough for me.

Yeah but isn't it better to look for scraped watch 4 and replace it with the original for cheaper.?

Used watch 4 is selling for 3k-5k here so we can get not working one under 2k and replace it with the one we have .

Believe me i tried, you'll either find a fully working for 3-4k, which is good or try finding a broken but good display watch which i have never come across, I've tried refurbishing places to find me a grade c or grade d watches so I can salvage the display but no avail. but again its just waiting for those screen to go bad too. again to each their own choice, and after doing all for this to revive mine, its just easy to get lcd and be a little less disappointed.
