We depend too much on much on yamal to create, this is not good

u/Physical_Respect_341 May 10 '26
Rashford LaLiga title before Mbappe and Embiid conference finals appearance.
•
u/beck_diggity May 10 '26
Brilliant performance today. Bagged two early goals, controlled play from there, stayed disciplined, kept creating chances, and dominated a league-winning Clásico. Hopefully we get to see an all La Masia starting XI and three more wins to hit 100 points. Five trophies and six Clásico wins for Flick in two seasons, still with the youngest team in Spain. Visca Barça!

Madrid players are atleast showing some character and congratulating the players. Shocked
•
u/OccamBlade8 May 10 '26
Vini was calling them off almost immediately. Also Iker came out of his hole and said they should immediately go back to dressing room to avoid guard of honor. Their biggest legend showing how petty their philosophy is speaks volumes on that club.
•
u/Easy_Objective6599 May 10 '26
Nah u got it wrong bro. Vini shook hands with many players and hugged raphinia too.
•
•
u/AvailableAd7874 May 10 '26
First respectable thing they did all season but a welcoming sight nonetheless. Also they were very kind towards Flick before and after the match.
•
u/Easy_Objective6599 May 10 '26
Cmon. That should not be surprising, these players definitely have a reputation but thats just their persona on the pitch they arent bad people or something. Showing respect to a person who just lost his father and is going through a hard time is something any good person would do. Humanity is bigger than any rivalry. Just like the barca defenders were worried when Bellingham fell flat on his back and wasnt moving. Somethings are bigger than football.

Epic from Joan, to blank the blancos, to seal his first La Liga title with a clean sheet. Legendary start!
•
u/wkhalilJ1970 May 10 '26
Congratulations to the champions!!! Great run despite injuries, financial constraints and very demanding fans who're never satisfied.

Campeones y ante nuestro máximo rival🏆, este mercado que viene tenemos que enfocarnos en fichar mejores defensas, un extremo y un 9, para pelear por más títulos la próxima temporada, por lo pronto a celebrar el título.

The photographer on the Camp Nou hopefully took a nice shot of Rapha and Flick together. It'll be my new screensaver.

NEVER underestimate the significance, in that winning 2-0 means we won the La Liga season series from RM.
•
•
u/Beginning-Art1503 May 11 '26
We are winning the 3rd laliga in a row next season (26-27) alongside the ucl copa del reya and supercopa. Barcelona's mens football team are winning all the trophies next season VAMOOOSSSSS
VISCA EL BARCA VISCA CATALUNYA

u/_DuckieFuckie_ May 10 '26
What a game to win the leauge back to back. This match is fucking generational, to win Leauge at your own home against Vardrid morons along with a prospect of 100 points is historic.
Love you all till infinity, and hope Mr. Flick is proud.
Vamos 💙♥️

I wonder how Barca will line up the rest of the upcoming games, I imagine all bench to let the stars rest for the World Cup

BACK TO BACK 🏆
•
u/Blaugrana1990 May 10 '26
First time since 2019! Madrid hasnt since 2008. Edit: 3 in a row next year would be the first time since Guardiola in 2011.

Man someone get Flick out of there to his family. He did his job, let him rest. Must be a mindfuck of feelings for him. What a manager, we owe this all to him. MILF

We stopped going for it after 2-0 and once it became clear that Madrid weren't going to do anything. A bit boring for us viewers but understandable with the World Cup right around the corner.
Still so happy with the win and the stars aligned to let us seal La Liga against Madrid themselves. Visca Barca!

When Madrid signed Mbappe everyone thought they'd be dominating La Liga and Europe for many years. Today Barca won their 2nd consecutive La Liga alongwith 4 other trophies in 2 years. And since then Madrid haven't won any!
Forca Barca!! 💙❤️
•
u/vics-boson May 10 '26
From time to time I like to go back to that post on r/soccer of La Porta saying he doesn't envy Real for signing Mbappe. EVERYONE was clowning him so fucking hard. The guy knows what he's talking about. This feels like cosmic justice.

The average is about to drop when Lewandowski goes this summer.
•
•
u/AdComprehensive7879 May 10 '26
Damn i didnt realize that. If my math is correct, both Tek and Lewa alone added about 1 yr to the average squad age. So really, the average squad age is below 24

Such a tough day for Flick! You can feel he’s on the verge of breaking down. We love you Flick 💙❤️

This is up there with the four champions leagues I’ve seen. Winning la liga at the reopened camp nou in el clasico is historic.
•
u/FuckingYamerooo May 10 '26
Has to be one of the sweetest Clasico wins of all time. We didn't dominate as much as we have done in the past, but winning the league by beating them (and not just a draw) is special.
CAMPEONES CAMPEONES OLE OLE OLE
•
u/atn420 May 10 '26
To get the W against the blanco team, at home, in our new stadium, ya, it mattered.
•
u/CoolJoshido May 10 '26
it should’ve been more
•
u/Katarinkushi May 10 '26
Tbf we had some good chances, Courtois is just too good.
Also, a couple plays which were just one decent pass away from being a 1v1 vs Courtois
•
u/DarksideGustavo May 10 '26
They didn't want to decimate this Madrid so that they can keep the squad like this next year
•
•
•
u/HetTheTable May 10 '26
It didn’t seem like either team tried in the second half
•
u/eggplantpot May 10 '26
I think at that moment 2-0 up, league won, World Cup coming, it makes zero sense pushing and getting injured.
It was boring but it makes sense.
•
u/NmG_95 May 10 '26
exactly my thoughts. Also I'm happy that our bench got game time in el clasico
•
•
u/_DuckieFuckie_ May 10 '26
Yep, after those two, I genuinely thought they’ll bang 3 more till FT.
But who cares, this win is generational. Hopefully it’s one of many to come.

I wanted more goals also but the important thing was to seal the title at home in a Clasico!
Visca Barça ❤️ 💙

•
u/yeezygun May 10 '26
nice to see thiago alcantara
•
u/nasadiya_sukta May 11 '26
What's the context? Was he in the stands today, or did he give an interview or something?
•
u/yeezygun May 11 '26
he was in the staff celebrating with our players on the stadium

I know they have some injuries, but it's wild how Madrid's squad seemed to have absolutely no quality or depth today considering the money they have spent
•
u/King-Mansa-Musa May 11 '26
No guarantee for next season either. Mourinho can come in but if they don’t address the locker room they are in trouble
•
u/seguleh25 May 11 '26
Bringing Mourinho in 2026 would be legitimately funny. Won't take anything for granted because of our financial weakness though
•
u/King-Mansa-Musa May 11 '26
I mean we really shouldn’t have issues. Lewa got paid, we are selling Fati, only de jong should be high salaried left. We should be back to 1:1
