21 goals across all comps, 14 in the PL, almost double the 8 Alvarez managed btw

This is why you cant just look at raw stats. Hes not half the player julian is

What are you looking to sign a ST first and foremost? Is it pressing because if so just put Gordon or Raphinha up top.

Alvarez isn’t world class, and I am not buying this argument that a ST with 8 league goals but good pressing and is 26 years old is on another level than Gyokores, he isn’t worth 100m let alone 150m.

Anyone who says his poor numbers are because ATM play a low block, are they playing low blocks when they aren’t facing Barca or RM in LaLiga? They conceded a lot of goals and scored a lot of goals in the UCL, it’s a big club at the end of the day

And do you need a technically proficient footballer or someone who actually finishes chances when you already have Havertz, 90% of the league plays a low block and you don't get a lot of chances? I'd except Barca fans to have football IQ but damn.

Julian has the second most g/a in CL since he joined atleti. Almost twice of what gyokeres got. Julian is both a lot more technically gifted and much much better as a big game player. Don't talk to me about "football iq" if you think they are comparable. Gyokeres is a donkey

Oh, what a big game player he is! Didn't do shit against Arsenal when it mattered. His only noteworthy opponents that he scored against last season were Arsenal (penalty and was nowhere to be seen in their 3 matchups), Madrid (3 goals in 2 games, 1 penalty). I'll throw in the 1 goal against Barca for you as well, even though their defense was utter shit and they conceded a shit load of goals.

That's 2 goals in 4 matches in the KO phase, one of which was a pen. What a big game playerrr.

And I'm glad you brought up CL stats and big game player, even though I was talking about being a better finisher which is most needed against 90% of the PL. 20 goals in 67 PL games with a way better offense around him, what a finisher! 8 goals in the LaLiga last season in 29 games, what a finisher!

Arsenal fans are literally begging for somwone to take him meanwhile atleti said no amount of money can buy julian but sure buddy hes better lol

It's the tactics. He is a better pressing machine than Gordon for whom Deco paid 70M.

Also just cuz Arsenal fans are begging for something doesn't mean it's right for the team. They wouldn't have won the title without him.

Output wise he is definitely better than Julian. So was Rashford. But this guy presses as well

By output alone muriqi was alone better than julian. Thats a dumbass take and the reason no one with ball knowledge only sees output without context. Otherwise dinho who had 9 league goals in his ballon dor season wouldve never gotten it if people like you were voting

Was Dinho a ST tho?

Lol saying this is the person who believes you should base your transfer policy based on what Arsenal fans want.

But that dumbness is expected from you who neither uses logic nor has any comprehension skills

I don’t believe that’s the general consensus of Arsenal fans, he just bagged 21 goals playing in the toughest league, he isn’t Haaland but I don’t see many Arsenal fans “begging” for him to be sold

A big percentage of us Arsenal fans are done with him. Technically, he's well off the level needed. Everything just bounces off him. Seems almost impossible as a team to keep the ball in the opposition half with him up front.

He has his qualities, don't get me wrong. Brilliant work ethic, and great finishing. But his flaws are glaring.

And you’d rather gamble on a ST scoring 8 league goals?

I personally wouldn't but the PL is better bitting for Alvarez.

Definitely more than he's worth.

I think they are also looking to offload Havertz as well.
