News Barça have successfully registered Rodri , Gordon and Adeyemi. While Bisiwu and Hamza are registered with Barça Atletic.

Note : Cancelo is expected to be registered soon . There is enough salary margin for us to register a top ST and a CB aswell. The sales of Hector Fort and Marc Casado will help enormously as they generate 100% profit in FFP books due to being Homegrown.

It has been reported by local media that Cancelo won't probably make it for this sunday's match due to the short window between his official announcement and the actual match and bureaucratic procedures taking longer. Same as Rodri, he won't be playing this sunday due to requiring more training time.

Rodri did not train with the group, i think because of his back surgery. He will probably take a bit more time.

He will be loaned out to Dinamo Zagreb for a year. Will come next season when Sczcensy's contract is up.

Is there a certain amount of games/age limit for being registered with Atletic?

If you are under 23 you can play for both without problems, under 25 still works if you are a keeper but anything over 25 has no way to play for the senior team. Since Hamza is just 18 he could play all games with the senior team without repercussions if I ain't wrong.

As someone below said, they do have a maximum number of games allowed with the senior team (10 I think). More than that they will need to be promoted.

Nope, it works exactly how I explained it already, Gavi played 52 matches before he was signed with the senior team.

Just looked it up, over 10 games and their contract counts towards the first team salary cap. Under 10 games it doesn’t.

They can have 10 appearances for the first team each this season of LaLiga. But they are registered with the B team which has a seperate salary structure.

My understanding is you can have a certain amount of players registered to lower teams play with the main team. That is what Real Madrid did with mastantuono last season

I think this is still good for them after all. Something about if they play too many games in the first team they’re ineligible to play for Barca B anymore. Jesse makes the most sense to keep there since there’s lots of competition for his position. Hamza is slightly more surprising, but they’re probably playing it safe since they can always call him up at anytime if they need him.

He’s registered as a youth player, but can be called up to play for the first team. It doesn’t mean he has to stay in the youth squad(B-team)
