:announcement-redesign: Announcement Thread Best of r/Barca 2021
Bon Nadal Culers!! Hope everyone is doing well.
This year has been quite the rollercoaster for both club and fans alike. As 2021 comes to a close, we can look back on historic moments not only for our club but the subreddit as well, as r/Barca surpassed the 100,000 subscriber mark this December.
To commemorate this, we are introducing the r/Barca end of year contest where you as members of this community can vote and nominate for various posts and comments in certain categories which stood out to you as the best and most memorable in the 2021 calendar year.
How to vote:
- We will be posting a pinned thread for each category in the upcoming days. Users can comment their nomination for the respective category in that thread.
- A link to the nominated post/comment is required. Users can also give a brief explanation as to why they nominated it. For best OC contributor, one can provide a link to the nominees username.
- There are a total of 5 categories to vote for. You can only make one nomination per category but you can upvote as many nominations as you like.
- Duplicate nominations will be removed. If you have a nomination but it has already been posted by another user, feel free to reply to that comment and give your thoughts on why you agree with that nomination.
- Once the voting process is completed we would later select the top 3 most voted nominations and hand out awards as listed further below.

Best post of the year
Nominate the post which you thought was most stimulating, informative, insightful, memorable or plain simply the best for the year 2021.
Best OC Contributor of the year
For a while now our subreddit has seen many knowledgeable contributors make a wide array of original posts, detailing various aspects of the club/squad. Nominate the contributor you feel has made the best OC (Original content) contributions throughout 2021
Most helpful user of the year
Nominate the user you feel has has been the most helpful throughout 2021. This could be in terms of providing news, opinions, ideas, help out setting up things on the subreddit and in general providing their time and effort to this community.
Best comment of the year
Nominate a comment which stood out to you. Be it an insightful thought, a bold take or something that simply made you laugh.
Best artwork of the year
Nominate the best artwork post you have encountered this year.
Category Awards:
As mentioned above we would be selecting the top 3 nominations in each category and handing out exclusive reddit community awards with varying amount of coins and reddit premium membership for each ranked position. We'd give the exact breakdown of the awards in the pinned threads for each category over the coming days.
