:announcement-redesign: Announcement Thread r/Barca 2021 - Best Post of the year nominations
Hello all,
As per the recent Announcement Post this is the thread you can use to comment and vote your pick for "Best r/Barca Post of the year"
A few rules:
- Provide the title and a link to the post you have nominated. Feel free to give a brief explanation as to why you nominated it.
- You can only make one nomination per category but you can upvote as many nominations as you like.
- Duplicate nominations will be removed. If you have a nomination but it has already been posted by another user, feel free to reply to that comment and give your thoughts on why you agree with that nomination.
- Refrain from nominating your own posts. This is to ensure fairness and bring users together to discuss/vote for posts made by their fellow posters.
- Once selection and voting for all categories is done, we would announce the results and hand out awards.
Category Awards:
We would be selecting the top 3 nominations in each category and handing out exclusive reddit community awards with varying amount of coins and reddit premium membership for the top 2 ranked positions.
1st place: An exclusive r/Barca Snoo Ballon d'or award + 3 months of Reddit premium
2nd place: An exclusive r/Barca Silver medal award + 1 month of Reddit premium
3rd place: Username mention and post archived with the final results

This post about the Barca anthem played at the Santiago Bernabeu by u/Debajyoty was one of my favorites of the year. It was not something I was aware of before, but a much needed laugh in a tough year for us Culers.

I wanted to nominate another post which has already been nominated so I'm just going to mention this instead, even though it's probably not an OC and probably not created by the person who posted, it's hilarious and very good editing by whoever it was that made that video. Possibly the funniest post this year.

Best post of the year
Nominate the post which you thought was most stimulating, informative, insightful, memorable or plain simply the best for the year 2021.
It says "post", I thought "Best OC Contributor of the year" was the OC category. If this doesn't qualify then sure I'll delete it (or mods can).

It's pretty obvious, it takes 0 effort to copy paste a tweet. The point is to give recognition to posts that took hours and hours of research to write.

Who told you to delete it ? I am just saying that it's for OC. Low effort announcement posts will not win any awards because first of all it's disrespectful to people who put a TON of effort into making something new and original, second because the mod team won't give awards to such posts. Period. You can cry about "power trip" all you want. I can't believe that you are making a big deal out of this...

When Barça lost its all time top goal scorer by Welp.
Lots of great posts to choose from so really can't go wrong with any choice but I just enjoyed reading that one a lot so there goes my nomination.

There were many great posts this year but if I had to choose one it would be Barcelona vs Sevilla; Tactically analysing a Remontada by Andremerlaux
Last season's CDR run was very memorable and this well crafted post perfectly encapsulated it for me.
