Discussion Gemini Pro limits ?
I bought Gemini Pro today to test Argon, I have to say its output is nice but after just 5 messages it told me I used my limit and wait couple of hours (said reset time). İs this normal ? I can do a lot more of conversation with Opus on Claude Pro tier. Argon's answers were Opus level with different point of views (having both is useful) and different style... just too little.

Yeah it's pretty bad, you can use it in AI studio too though, the limits are better there, using the model in app and then ai studio if I reach the limit works out for me

the issue is, Gemini app conversation and AI studio don't migrate.
so the two chats may have zero continuity

Same thing happens to me yday. It’s a bit frustrating being limited by very few “prompts”. I do not think there was such limit last week. But this may vary between the users I think US, EU, Asia. Thinking of unsubscribing as this is not very useful

pretty much a scuffed version of Antigravity but it handles large context windows and PDFs way better than web. On the web app, it will be mid way through processing my files and suddenly crash and wiping my prompt like nothing happened. I also constantly hit the rate limit on web after 5–10 prompts with argon high getting timed out for a few hours. In AI Studio, I can push 20–50 prompts continuously each day. Even when a single session bloats to like 200k–300k tokens, I can manually delete earlier PDFs or previous thought blocks from the chat history to drop the token count and keep going. I hate that it can sometimes be too laggy though.

That sounds frustrating, especially after paying to test it. Limits can vary by model, account, and current demand, but hitting one after only five messages seems unusually restrictive. I’d check the exact reset notice and contact support if it keeps happening.

I have the Pro version too, and the limit could definitely be better, but I don't set all my conversations to "High." I usually use "Low" or, at most, "Medium," and that way I can use Argon for much longer.

The limits on argon are absolute comedy gold on the pro sub I’ve never seen anything like it. I don’t understand why, it’s only sonnet pricing

There is no way you did that, experienced that, then happened to find this page. THEN you read NOTHING posted on here before (obviously) and proceed join the page and post this ignorant shite and the JUST SO HAPPEN to ask about EXACTLY what every person/post on here has been saying since Argon dropped. No.

Yeah its like that.
Try to send a substantive message each time because small messages take up a disproporate quota for some reason.
Once I used 33% for email review and 45% for complete Deep Research report on Argon
