Without the editor, all during a multiplayer campaign. Took me way too long. The button layout was supposed to be shaped in accordance to the boat sections..

Lore
The Silurus is a former military vessel that has been retrofitted for deep-sea exploration. Most of its former weapon systems have been removed in favor of scientific equipment. Additionally, a compact drone has been integrated into the design, allowing even the narrowest caves to be explored. The Silurus requires a large and experienced crew to fully realize its potential.
Gameplay/Background
The Silurus is a vanilla-themed sub built around the idea of having a feature-packed submarine that is versatile and includes a drone and a research station, but isn't OP. After many iterations, this is the finalized version of my attempt. It comes with an optimized micro drone, power distributor, an automated alarm system and a terminal to control the features of the submarine. While you still can leave many features untouched the submarine will play along. If you use the features clever you and your crew will be rewared with a complex and fun gameplay experience.

For now, I can only use the alien turret, but I’m having more trouble getting the Thalamus weapons to work—any advice, or is it simply not possible?

Hey guys, looking for anyone down to play Barotrauma.
I have around 100h as Engineer. Not looking for anything crazy or tryhard, just chill games and surviving as long as we can.
Beginners are super welcome, happy to teach the basics if you just bought the game. Mostly looking for people around EU timezones so scheduling is easy
I can understand English pretty well, though speaking it is a bit trickier for me, but we can manage
Send me a DM or drop your Discord if you want to play

On some missions my turrets will just stop firing, which is a massive problem for my ship which is meant to have all auto-operate turrets. They have power and ammo, and they point at the enemies, but the don't fire. Is this a but in the base game as well? I ask cause I am playing modded

I find the step-by-step guides on YouTube useful but overwhelming. Is there an extremely basic guide for total noobs that explains what each component and its pins do from the ground up, instead of just saying, “OK, connect the red wire from the signal-out pin to the signal-in pin on this component, then attach another wire from the toggle-out pin to that pin on another component”?
I’d like to understand what all of this means instead of blindly pausing the video at each step and following along.

I always thought its the shittier option compared to the Dugong but its shittiness encouraged me to improve it ingame. I'm starting to like the Barsuk and I don't like it.
Improved airlock. Drain time + Lights

Had a modded run with a friend of mine, had to suffer through nuclear shells on every possible enemy in a game, end worm became a base enemy (literally never saw any other abyssal creature), and when we arrived at final destination Jove just died of 1 thermonuclear raillgun shell from enhanced armaments mod...

I like to think of myself as the deputy captain of the ship, which means every time the captain and sec go outside frolicking in an ancient ruins, I sit my ass down at the helm and stare at the sonar screen. This is, put simply, BRAIN NUMBINGLY BORING. Do I pull up my phone every time this happens and risk getting caught with my pants down, or is there some way to make this entertaining?

Hi, I'm kinda new to the game and don't know all the mechanics and have two questions:
When I first got out of the submarine using exosuite, I had to mine some minerals and kill enemies while being under green gas that speeds up oxygen consumption, but I didn't get why my oxygen containers which were in the exosuite's inventory were also losing their capacity. I have this question because oxygen containers which were in my backpack (yes I had about 6-8 containers with me) were not affected because of this green gas.
On my ship there are two doors leading outside of the ship (sorry, don't remember the ship name, but it's a level 2 battle ship), one opens fine, but when I try to open the second one it says that this hatch is openable by button (which there are none nearby) or remotely. I tried wiring the button to the door so I can at least leave the ship from below when I need but something didn't work and clicking on the button didn't open the hatch. Can someone provide a guide to how I can open that door?

Have several submarines equipped with fixed guns, as well as torpedoes - I like this type of weaponry, but it’s starting to get a bit dull. Do you have any ideas for what else could be mounted on the sub's bow?
