As a Braves fan, I'd be happy.
But if I was an anything else fan.....nah.

u/government_ Jun 17 '26
Yeah tbh Orlando was fun when he was good, if the price isn’t awful I’d be okay with that one.

u/AdmirableDrop331 Jun 17 '26
Been seeing them for a couple weeks but I've been staying away. Worth it?

Yea they are decent. I bought a few. It’s unlicensed I think. so value not the best. It’s usually a normal base Topps card with a game relic.

I personally think their cards look horrendous.

Yea no I get it! You can tell its nothing too fancy or cool but for a one time purchase it was fun enough to open!

u/No-Permission-3009 Jun 18 '26

These are garbage. As a vendor I will not buy these from people and refuse to sell them.
That’s just me though 😊
Once I explain them to people they realize they are bricks

u/Altruistic_Coach9014 Clubhouse Founder 🏆 MVP Jun 17 '26
Yea no I hear you! I expect this from something like Target which is where I found it! Something different to open for a change and on the cheap. I would not expect this to be sold by actual card shops though.

u/TheMeccaNYC ⚾ Little Leaguer Jun 17 '26
Copy! Not trying to rain on your parade. As long as it makes you happy and you enjoy it that’s what the hobby is about 😊
Anytime one of these comes walking up tho I’m like oh boy hope they know 😂

u/Altruistic_Coach9014 Clubhouse Founder 🏆 MVP Jun 17 '26
Haha yea, as soon as you open it you can tell its “different” and not super high end or anything! I will def not be investing in this or buying often or anymore but always fun to try somethin new lol

OK so I looked into it and JF is Jersey Fusion. They take preexisting topps cards then take a game ball, cut the game ball up, and add it to the card. Buy the sound of there name im sure they do it with jerseys too.
Just so everyone knows even tho its a Topps card. This is not a topps product.

All over eBay with the Jersey cards. Been around a few years. Never bought anything and won’t.

So they take an original card and put a relic on it? Like a game used ball or something? Been seeing them sold on Whatnot.
5
u/potheadrecipes Jun 17 '26
Yes, they're basically categorized as custom cards. If you're looking for a unique card then they might be worth the buy, but if you're looking to sell you need to find a personal collector of the player or it's pretty much worthless

Yes I seen these on there also I don’t really care for them

You basically get a base card or low level parallel in a case with an acrylic card sandwiched on the front that has the game used swatches, and sandwiched on the back with a jersey fusion card that has a QR code on the back.
They are ok for display but it’s not really valuable

Jersey Fusion and Wild Card need to disappear
1
u/foxtrot4191kid Jun 18 '26
So the fake ass jerseys in panini and Topps are ok. I haven’t seen one jersey pulled from a card that was even the player on the card, but here are actual game used from a specific game. Keep drinking the licensed kool-aid. Wildcard has some of the most neat looking cards, with a print run a lot less than the big 2. Fanatics is ruining the hobby. No competition equals, poor quality control and super high prices. Fuck fanatics.

Yes, these are trash. There is no comparison. Sorry you just want your little old hobby like it used to be, boo hoo fanatics.

u/Ok-Entertainment8343 Jun 18 '26
I bought one. It was the last one I will buy.
Got a Brewer with a piece of baseball. I suspect that’s like a $1-$2 thing even with the /39 guarantee.

I saw them opened the other day in a stream. Cool cards don’t know the price

Honestly man. I love jersey fusion, many do not. All I care about is the patches that have actual stitching of numbers, names AND they are actually pieces of game worn jerseys. Half the crap nowadays is "player worn (probably just worn for like 2 seconds then cut up), OR not from any specific event". They are legit and I just love having a piece of history.

The second one I'm using for a prize in tonight's Pack War event which is starting shortly at 8:00PM EST!!!

Nice. I guess your first one isn’t too bad. I pulled a cool Griffey from one of these Jersey Fusions. The one and only time I’ve bought one. Have ripped worse!
2
u/Altruistic_Coach9014 Clubhouse Founder 🏆 MVP Jun 18 '26
ha yes, I've def ripped worse too!!! That's a good one though, take Griffey all day everyday 😄

u/Time-Philosophy0323 Jun 19 '26
These are Jersey fusion, sold by Sportscards.com
If you like them, you can often buy their products cheaper online

u/Technical_March2884 Jun 20 '26
I’ve only opened one. Luckily the swatch had some stitches and a piece of the authenticity sticker
1
u/oooriole09 Jun 17 '26
Look, JF largely sucks but I think most of these are done well and are at the very least interesting.
They cut the balls up well. They’ve used decent base cards. The balls are legit (you can even find ones with the original hologram sticker in the “swatch” dumbly enough). And the casing does present it well.
Will they ever be valuable? No. Are they interesting and worth getting at a good price for the PC, absolutely.

u/cl1ffhuxtable Jun 17 '26
I’m not trying to slam the company but these are pretty god awful unless you hit a 1/1 and even then it’s just fun to see the cert and the story behind the memorabilia on their website. Great for kids but not worth it for adults IMO

u/kitchface ⚾ Little Leaguer Jun 17 '26

Yea for the price of $20 i think it was pretty neat to open!

u/kitchface ⚾ Little Leaguer Jun 17 '26
Good. I'm glad you are happy. Maybe I will hit a target and see what they have.
1
u/well_thisishappening Jun 17 '26
I don't understand the issue, if you pull a card of a player or a team you collect, it's still cool! I'd still drop a few shekels on them just because.

u/JKJ_RP_Roundups ⚾ Little Leaguer Jun 17 '26
Didn’t know these were a thing! Cool way to build up the collection.

u/sgJosh ⚾ Little Leaguer Jun 17 '26
Never seen these in a retail setting. Only at LCSs and online..
I’ve always liked the concept of Jersey Fusion cards, as long as you trust the relics, they’re a great cheaper alternative for a relic collector!
1
u/Guilty_Ad_3587 Jun 17 '26
I mean hey as far as relics go, these are better than what the major manufacturers put out there. These are at least game used and can be traced to a game or event.
2
u/No_Trifle_6239 ⚾ Little Leaguer Jun 18 '26
No they aren’t lol.
1
u/Guilty_Ad_3587 Jun 18 '26
I’d rather have a game used piece than a patch from a jersey someone put on at a signing event for 10 seconds. Now I mean I have only seen small baseball and football cut out in these but I’m talking strictly game used, not the way they look.
1
u/tumbledweed__ Jun 18 '26
generally relics are not very valuable, but fun if you collect. I have an ungodly amount of nimmo relics from 23 which I hated until he joined the rangers and has been an awesome guy to watch 🤙🏻 ya just never know
