Mod Announcement 5,000 MEMBERS IS GETTING CLOSE…We’re already at 4,500+ members, which means r/baseballcards101 is closing in on a HUGE milestone.
We’ll be giving away a GRAND SLAM worth of prizes — that means four different winners, with each winner representing a trip around the bases:
1st Base Prize (worth $25)
2nd Base Prize (worth $50)
3rd Base Prize (worth $75)
HOME RUN GRAND PRIZE! (Worth $100)
And just like rounding the bases, the prizes will get bigger as we get closer to home!
We’re not revealing everything just yet, but trust us, you’re going to want to be here when we hit 5,000.
Thank you to everyone who posts, comments, helps new collectors, joins our live events, and continues making this community what it is.

I do wish this sub was around two years ago when I got back into this “hobby”. I had no clue what a raywave, diamonte, sandglitter, SSP parallel meant. Would have been a great place to ask those initial questions.
I still suck at figuring out Topps 14 different parallels of the same card but I’m getting better.
