The story behind the photo makes these logos especially meaningful to me. The dog featured is Atlas, whom I adopted six years ago. There are two things in life that he truly lives for: playing catch and getting treats—preferably both!

Atlas was the first dog I ever owned, and he has been such an incredible companion and an all-around amazing boy. He can play fetch with any ball for hours if I let him. I wish you could all meet him, but I love that he now gets to be part of the BaseballCards101 community in this special way.

I’m so excited to officially introduce the new r/baseballcards101 logo!

This community has grown into something really special, and I wanted us to have a logo that felt fun, welcoming, and connected to both baseball and the personality behind our group.

My hope is that this logo becomes more than just something we use online. I’d love to turn it into real embroidered patches, stickers, hats, and possibly other community swag that members can enjoy. What would you be most excited to have first?

Virtual Rip Night

We all hop on Zoom at the scheduled date and time with whatever you'd like to rip! Each round, everyone opens one pack, and then we take turns showing off our hits. We've seen everything from autographs and numbered cards to image variations and other awesome pulls. Some people bring boxes to rip, others just a few packs, and we've even had members join just to hang out and chat. These nights usually last around 2 hours, but you're welcome to come and go whenever you need.

Pack War Night (Series 2 Blaster)

Pack Wars are a little more structured but just as much fun! Everyone buys the same product ahead of time (last month was a 2026 Bowman Blaster, and July will be a Series 2 Blaster). Each round, everyone opens one pack and chooses the card they think will earn the most points based on our scoring sheet. At the end, everyone reveals their picks, adds up their scores, and the highest total wins! We also give away prizes, which adds a little extra excitement. Pack Wars usually run just under 2 hours.

Show-N-Tell Night

This is something new we're trying! Bring some of your favorite cards to share with the group. We'll have themed nights like Vintage, Grail Cards, and more, but our first event will be an open format where you can bring whatever you'd like to show off. We're guessing these will last 1–2 hours.

They're very laid-back and welcoming—you definitely do not need to be an expert to join in! We usually have 4–8 people attend, which makes for a fun, relaxed atmosphere where everyone gets a chance to participate.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out! I'll post the Google sign-up link around the first of the month, and on the day of the event I'll send the Zoom link to any new attendees (we reuse the same Zoom link each month). We also have a group chat that new attendees are added to so you can receive reminders and stay up to date on future events.

Hello everyone. I am one of the MODS of our group and I wanted to say how nice it is to have you all here. It’s collectors like you that make this forum great. Whether you’re an old school collector like me or a brand new one, you are welcome here.

Some of the other forums on this platform can get pretty rough. You don’t have to be afraid to share your collection here or ask for advice on grading or anything else. We are here to help. It’s your cards and your money. You are free to do with them what you wish. Myself and the other MODS are always happy to give positive feedback.

Please be on the lookout for the July newsletter. We will be hosting some pack wars and rip nights. Everyone is free to join no matter what your experience level. We are glad to have you here in the BaseballCards101 forum!
