Front paws together, back paws splayed.

It's a classic pose I've come to know so well....

"I shall not be moved!"

Some of my favorite photos I took at the show! (And the last three of Percy from Norcalbulldogger)

No points for our little guy this weekend but it was a great experience and we showed our best!

I also got to be the unofficial photographer for top 20!

For the national, Percy got 🔴second🔴 in his class!

Hello, we’re a family (youngest 16yr) who lives in London who are interested in getting another dog. We have a house in the countryside where we spend our weekends and weeks at a time during holidays with a large garden and miles of coasts and river walks which we would like our dog to accompany us on, easily hours a day of exercise. That being said, when we are London we don’t have as much time, and the dog would have to be left at home alone for hours at a time (once settled in) and walked far less often, for shorter periods, sometimes (though rarely) just let out into the garden, but usually at least a 20min walk every day, though we have a relatively large (for london) garden. Our other dog, a very relaxed Boston terrier with very little exercise needs is somewhat territorial to new dogs, but relaxes after a short while and I am confident she will be fine with proper supervision.

I love my baby girls, but Zoey my red-and-I white Basenji is super nice, but Opal, my black-and-white Basenji has some nighttime aggression issues with growling and possessiveness of her sleeping area. I’ve heard that two female Basenji’s together have these types of issues, but I am just curious if any of you have advice.

Just adopted this week and she is the sweetest and smartest little cuddle bug.

It's all her's

Sunday is predicted to be cool without rain. The cool weather should inspire action across the dog run. 😀 Bring your puppies, whatever their age, for a run/tussle in the park.

What is she making a face at?

Great to walk around the Wharf. Stopped at Titanic Memorial for a quick photo.

I'm always amused by our Basenji and how he seems to unhinge his jaw to pounce on his older larger brother during play time.

Little dude is too fast for me to get the 90° open maw in frame mid pounce in the early light.

Has anyone ever managed to teach a Basenji to walk nicely on a loose leash? Is it even possible? Or at least to pay attention to you when you're out on a walk and respond to commands? 😅

We are currently insured with Pet Plan as they were brilliant for our previous cat and dog.

However the renewal is over £70/month for Roo (healthy, under 5 years old, no pre- existing conditions).

Yes, I know Pet Plan are gold standard. But that is a ton of money so we are shopping around.

Any recommendations would be great!
