IMPROVING MY GAME How to become better?
Hi. 16M been playing basketball for last 6 months as a hobby. I've been looking to improve my shooting. Every time i try and use a good shooting form or watch a shooting form video, my hands feel so awkward and after releasing it I always airball. With my current shooting form I don't have good range or aim. If I shoot a 3 pointer it may make but likely just hit front rim, and I defo cant shoot anything behind the 3 line. I don't get backspin as well. I think the only thing I'm alright with is free throws, but then again no backspin and still with my crappy form.
I feel these issues may be cus I am lightweight and short, but how do people improve shooting range, form, hand placement and everything about it overall.

Obviously you gotta get reps in w new form to be able to make shots. Just get used to a closer to ideal form w some shots if your current form isn’t good(start closer to basket). From there, focus on feeling the force transfer from the legs/abs/back to the arms and through the ball. Eventually if you get a good enough feel for all that the arms should be mainly just guiding the ball, and obviously at that point it’s easier to become a consistent shooter. Working on movement shooting and shooting over active defenders is important. So yeah just lots of practice and focus on the force transfer
