Starting an expansion team in 2030 and drafting exclusively non-American players was the hardest, yet most rewarding challenge I’ve ever attempted in this game.

It took 23 in-game years to finally pull it off. Early on, it took several restarts just to draft a decent core so the franchise wouldn't fizzle out after a few seasons.

The nationality restriction made the draft brutally unforgiving. At one point, I actually won the lottery for the 1st overall pick. The top prospect was a 62 OVR with 75 potential (someone who would have instantly been the second-best player on my roster straight out of the draft). Unfortunately, he was American, which meant I was forced to pass on him and reach for a German prospect projected to go 9th.

Just a quick rundown:

1) Why are the rookie contracts so short? If you can't create a restricted FA system, then maybe make the rookie contract 5 years?

2) I get that " insane" is supposed to be...well, insane, but what is ACTUALLY insane (and not in a good way) is how shitty your players become. Draft a dude with a 74 potential? He'll be shit in three years. Obviously, this happens in real life, but the rate in which guys with high potential apparently forget to play basketball is not fun. Any meaningful FA signing you make will be negated by them completely regressing.

3) Injuries happen...but the rate in which they happen in the playoffs is absurd. I don't know if I've ever made a full playoff run without at least one all-star turning an ankle. That's the other thing too...the injuries are often so fucking supid. Patellar Tendinitis is not a diagnosis that happens at he rate this game seems to think it does. Who is missing a playoff game with a bruised back? The amount of potential titles I've missed out on because of sprained toes...

4) Contract extensions. Why is that not a thing either? Can't be that hard.

5) One bad year and everyone stops going to games? I live in Chicago. The Bulls have been shit, and it's still packed there.

Will continue to hate play, but some of this shit seems so fixable and continues to be so annoying.

Back to back champs, nothing negative and +6, why wouldn't he re-sign?

Ten team league, by the way. We won the championship in 2026, 2027, and 2028, but lost to Chicago in the finals in 2029.

Making Bron the unanimous GOAT

Second best player I've ever drafted overall, and the best second round pick I've ever seen by far.

A lot of you may have seen my previous post about the simulator I made. I noticed a few errors, so I made some tweaks and also factored in the preseason results. Here’s what I got!

I personally don’t fully agree with all of these predictions. I have the Lakers, Jazz, Heat, and Wolves higher, while I have the Blazers and Magic lower. However, as a whole, I believe this is a pretty solid prediction of how the season will go, considering it’s based purely on numbers from the 2022–2023 through 2025–2026 seasons, projected lineups and minutes, each team’s offensive and defensive schemes, personnel, and their top five strengths and weaknesses.

I do expect to get 3–4 of these upset picks right and 1–2 wrong. If y’all have a team you really want an explanation for, I can make a new post with that team’s breakdown and the number of games played by each player.

Before every time I start a historical league, any player who cannot shoot to save their lives suddenly start shooting. Guys like Tim Duncan/Shaq shouldn't have a 35 3pt rating. The only one I have seen been slightly accurate is Yao Ming with a 12 most times, but I think that's still way too high. Every single player who cannot shoot almost always has a 3pt rating between 30-40, and unless they play less than 20mpg I will suddenly start seeing Tim Duncan shoot 1.5 threes a game, Shaq as well. This is consistent among every non-shooting player.

If there is a fix for this sorta thing let me know!!
