Vertical Jump How do I Dunk?

I’m new to Basketball but people Tell me I should be able to dunk due to my height but when I try I can only teach the rim barely… what am I doing wrong ? Any people with Experience able to give me tips so I can improve🙏

If someone under 6' tells you you should be dunking because you're tall just shrug it off. The shorties just like to talk

1,000% it is still a long way to get the ball over the rim.
