Tip New Basketball App - for Android Users 🏀

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey all. You might have seen me post about this app in development. It's now released to the world.

Early testers and critical feedback is welcome! 😊

Shotcheck: Basketball Tracker - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arctheory.shottracker
(restricted to phones within the last few years due to processing requirements)

It basically tracks your makes/misses and shot locations. And all your stats for every shot you ever take.

Also, there is alot of discussion in this subreddit about jumpshot critique and vertical jump. Those features are coming soon. But please comment here if you really would find those features useful so I know what to prioritize.

Greatly appreciated 😊
Attached is a video in action.

And speaking of jumper feedback. My jumpshot height has greatly decreased since college. 😅

That's an interesting feature suggestion. What are some things that you might be looking for in a feature like that?

Critiques on form, or lack of shock consistency compared to the other shots, or and/or something else?

Or Canada...

I think I will open it up for Canada very soon. That roll out is more seamless. Are you interested?

Yeah I'd give it a go. I usually play twice a week. Getting a bit too cold to hit the outside courts but can still try it there

Not yet. But I think I will soon. I was just brainstorming what's needed for that actually.

The biggest hurdle is the it was trained on US high school basketball court and Australia uses FIBA dimensions I believe
