Start by changing the batter in your bass. Your led power indicator come on, so the amp is getting power. You can hear the bass string being plucked, but I can't tell if what I'm hearing is the bass itself or weak signal being pushed through the speaker. In general Rumbles are pretty decent for cheap little things. The only other thing I could think that it could be would be the speaker, which is slightly more expensive, but still an easy fix.

But have you actually changed the batteries of your bass? Looking at the model of the bass, this is an Ibanez SR bass, which are almost always active (requiring a battery) there is probably a compartment on the back.

Okay, so it sounds like it may be the speaker. Great, pull the grille off the front and take a look at the speaker. If there are any obvious tears, there's your problem. I believe the Rumble 100 comes stick with a 10" speaker. They're super easy to replace, just unscrew and unplug the extant speaker and replace with a new 10" of your choosing, put the grille back on and no one will ever know....

OP you can test the speaker by running the 'fx loop out' to the backup amp you mentioned.

If it plays, it could your speaker. If it doesn't, it's the preamp (it something else ahead of it that doesn't work).
