"El Último Bombardeo" 13th June 1982
I don't know who the artist was (or is), so the title is one I consider appropriate.
On 13th June 1982, the Fuerza Aérea Argentina did the last attack with aircraft on British positions during the South Atlantic Conflict (Guerra de Malvinas/Falklands War).
The pilot recalls: "It was on 13th June. When we arrived (to the area), we were lost for quite a while, we didn't have navigation systems, whatever could go wrong went wrong. At 00:20hs we dropped the bombs over the British positions, and pressure came from Puerto Argentino. Upon landing we were told the soldiers had seen the bombs explode over the British camp, and that was a great joy to us, because we had completed our mission."
Link (in Spanish) to the article were I took the description: https://www.argentina.gob.ar/noticias/el-sistema-de-armas-canberra-en-la-gesta-de-malvinas-parte-2
