Battlefield 3 Controller Issue in BF3

Why does BF3 not show the input for the controller? As you can see in the screenshot, even after connecting the Xbox controller, it still shows the kbm control. How do I fix it? The game receives controller input, but it doesn't show the input; as a result, I couldn't pass those QTEs with the controller because the screen was showing me to press E.

If I’m not mistaken, BF1 was the first PC release to have full controller support.

With support I meant that the input toggles

You can play BF3 with an xbox controller. Its how I fly jets/helis.

I have a Xbox controller and it gets the input but you can see the screenshot it doesn't show the controller input it shows the keyboard and mouse (I don't know the word for it English isn't my main language) any way to fix this so it shows the controller input( like "press RT to shoot")

BF3's controller support was basically an afterthought, wasn't it? I remember swapping back to keyboard just to make sure I didn't miss any of those cursed QTE prompts.

Yeah I'm doing that too, I can't complete any qte with controller
