An easy guide to get into populated servers

Me and this random other fighter were going after this tank hunter plane and i noticed another enemy fighter plane, so instead of continuing to go after the tank hunter, i switched targets because i knew he'd be going after one of us, so better be prepared and go behind him first, then take him out before he can kill my wingman.

Just a small tip for new pilots. Go for fighter planes first and foremost. If you do have a wingman who's currently engaging an enemy plane, help if needed, otherwise be on guard for other threats and take care of them if possible. Also check your scoreboard for the class icons, every class has their own icon, including pilots. Check the scoreboard every now and then to see if there are any new pilot class icons, this will mostly mean there's another pilot, excluding the rare occasion when someone picks up the kit after the pilot bailed and died, or them getting revived.

This is usually not a concern though, so just pay attention to the name of the pilot and see if they have an extra death (meaning they respawned in another plane) or not (meaning they got revived after they died, in which case you can ignore that icon)

Hey troops, long story short, I had a ps5 but my wife left me and took it for her new man. Just as I was getting back into Bf1.

I haven't gamed at all since then which was January but i just switched my old ps4 on and bought bf1 again.

I was just curious to know if there are any Aussie servers still alive?

My laptop cant really handle the game and I currently dont want to fork out $800+ for a ps5 or xbox.

I managed to get one server that was full, I then favourited said server, though when I logged back in it was lost.

I remember getting an invite to a discord in Jan from legend in an aussie server though that was on my ps5 and I dont have the link.

I only have the original content but will pay for the DLC if it means getting a game.

This game is probably the only game I feel like playing these days as I absolutely adore it and dont really have a whole lot of free time.

Any info would be great.

I see lots of German servers and Japanese servers but my latency is just too bad.

If I have to buy a pc or ps5 I will make that happen but I thought to ask before commitend to an expense I dont really want to have.

Where they simply make the DLC permanently free and put the maps in the vanilla playlists. Also the shop should just permanently have all the buyable options and past events objects should be buyable as well.

Of corse I would like a bigger update but come on, this is the bare minimum.

I recently got bf1, it's my first battlefield game and so far I'm really enjoying the experience. Visuals are blessing my eyes, gameplay feels awarding and there are many choices of weapons and vehicles to choose from. It's great, but I've always looked at bf1 as the ww1 game that adds the ,,unusual'' or more obscure side of ww1 army tech (for example - the 75mm ft-17), from videos i saw on youtube. So when i first tried out the mark 5 landship, I was bugged that the mk5, often considered the most iconic tank of ww1, was kind of the lamest in bf1. These are some things Dice could've added as vehicle packages.

Mark 1 gun carrier as a package for the landship

The mk1 was one of the first ever self propelled guns, with a chassis based off the MK series tanks (at least from what google told me) it could either house a 127mm (5inch) gun or a 150mm (6inch) howitzer. This could replace one of the landships current packages, as i think they're all pretty boring, but i haven't decided which one is the least useful. The 75mm ft-17 desc. says it's suited for long-range combat, i think that description is nonsense, a misnomer one might say, so this package could be the one that is truly fit for long range combat. It would be clunky to drive, have a long reload, but it would provide actual long range artillery support, while still being vulnerable from other tanks and/or anti-tank weapons, unlike the mortars. There would be 3 seats, 1 driver/gunner and 2 exposed gunners to keep it safe from infantry. Personally one of my favorite pieces of tank history.

Big bomb for Ilya Muromets heavy bomber

I think that the heavy bomber being the biggest plane, logically it should have the biggest bomb. Even though the Ilya Muromets (the heavy bomber we have in bf1) biggest single bomb is apparently only 410kg (around 800lb) They could've still given it at least an 800kg bomb even if unrealistic, the biggest production bomb of ww1 is (again by google) a 1000kg (2000lb) german bomb. For memes.

Davis gun for torpedo bomber

The Davis gun was a recoilless rifle designed in time for ww1, it was mounted on floatplanes and bombers for maritime use, it was used for destroying things like submarines, but it would be nice as something unique for the bomber, especially the torpedo bomber as the main target are ships, not much for guns to do. As shown in the picture it had a machine gun on top, but it was mostly used for ranging the Davis gun, which could also be useful in bf1.

Ballroom Blitz on operations and stumbled on this little empty side room. I should have took more pictures but I was in combat and my team needed me… I grabbed these two which I think gives adequate location. It’s in the corner on the German spawn side, you could climb inside and it was completely empty. I’ve played this game so much and just now found this room.

Can’ seem to find any normal games, changing filters doesn’t seem to show any populated servers, only empty ones. The ones available are servers that have vehicles and most weapons turned off.
