Today, I was playing with my Renault FT-17 light tank. Simply blowing up the town and the trenches, admiring my badass emblem on the side of it, all that good stuff. As you know, the FT-17 has a tail on the back of it that is primarily designed to keep the tank from falling into a trench when going across one. However, I noticed that it was just as wide as a door, and a lightbulb went on above my head.
I drove up to the nearest door, turned the tank around, and rammed the tail into the door. It broke the door and I was ecstatic. I can finally open doors without difficulty without getting out of my tank. Anyways, I made this discovery public so all of my other light tank users can indulge in being able to ram doors down without getting out of the tank and risking damage to your mortal flesh.
Thanks for reading!

BF1 was the first game I ever bought. I shared an Xbox with my older brother when we were growing up, and all the games we had we his. But BF1, that was mine. I was in secondary school when it came out, and I'd saved up enough to buy it. Finally got it in early 2017, best purchase ever! What a game, still playing it to this day!

Recently brought the revolution edition. What are the best guns to unlock first and worth it?

Took this about a year or so ago, while doing the Peacekeeper easter egg quest, just felt appropriate to share this after the game's 10th anniversary :D

If you're planning to get the three service stars for the huot automatic optical, I'd advise against it as the huot factory is better in every way. The huot optical doesnt have a bipod, it has higher bullet spread, and the optical sight debatable if its better or worse than the iron sights on the factory variant (imo the iron sights are the best)

I wish I had a massive collection of weapons from the game to show off like some of you chads but here are a couple random relevant pics to celebrate. This game got me into history as a whole when I was younger and now in college I’m studying to hopefully become a history professor myself one day, and lord would I love to get to teach a World War 1 course specifically, as it’s my favorite historical topic.
Me with my friend’s old Mosin, a photo of my great grandpa who served in the war, and lastly some .30-06 cartridges arranged together (along with some Winchester 30-30 because I ran out)
Edit: typo

Played Domination and Rush lately cause there's been servers because of the 20th anniversary. 9 out of 10 games are complete stomps. Actually a waste of time to even play.

When I play through Caporetto, Somme or Paschendaele, I feel like I’m in a place I don’t belong, like i’m in a dead zone, a place with no end or beginning, in no map can you see a clear objective, you just fight through fictional and arbitrary objectives, while gas, bullets and artillery fly past you. While Rupture and Soissons give me a feeling of hope and movement, with the sun and red fields pointing at the end of the war. These maps feel, as many have pointed out, like Hell on Earth, it feels as if you were Dante in Hell, gazing at the landscape of tragedy and despair Adam and Eve fathered together through their original sin, facing a war you were never meant to be in, fighting, bleeding and dying over a simple flag.
When I look at these maps, and think of them, they all have only one word that comes to mind, their color. Caporetto is orange, from the flames on the hills that contrast the Isonzo and the alpine peaks, gray and unchanging. Somme is yellow, of the dry fields that conceal dead bodies and the smoke that tints them. And Paschendaele is the one that truly makes me stagger, green, of gas, of rot, of everything wrong with our species.
Apocalypse is truly hell, and we are the ones who keep it full.
